The clinic, supported by the Ministry of Health, helps individuals who cannot afford cataract surgery.
Cataracts are a condition causing vision loss, and surgical treatment is necessary to restore sight.
Dr. Osama Dias, an ophthalmologist at SLBMC, aims to eradicate blindness due to cataracts and has already restored sight to many patients.
The hospital is committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent people in the community from receiving needed cataract surgery.
