NHC – Tropical Storm Don persists over the central Atlantic as it moves steadily northwestward. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is closely monitoring the storm’s position and potential impacts.
As of the latest update, Don is approximately 605 miles southeast of Cape Race, Newfoundland, with sustained winds of 60 mph.
The storm is forecasted to turn northward today and then move northeastward on Sunday.
There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect currently.
While some strengthening may occur, Don is expected to weaken by tonight or Sunday morning, eventually becoming a post-tropical cyclone.
As of now, there are no hazards affecting land.
