Adele is refusing to cheer on England in the World Cup to save her voice for her Las Vegas shows, according to reports.
The singing superstar, 34, is playing to sold-out crowds at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace after cancelling the gigs earlier this year.
The rescheduled residency, which runs from November to March, coincides with the World Cup in which England has made it through to the final 16.
However, Adele is said to be keeping her support for the Lions to a minimum to "avoid excess stress" on her vocal chords.
A source claims the star has resorted to "whispering" when she's not on stage.
"Usually she'd be screaming and shouting in support of the boys, but she is holding it in for the sake of her cords," they said.

The Mirror has contacted Adele's reps for comment.
Adele had surgery on her vocal cords back in 2011.
During her Adele Live tour, the star was diagnosed with a vocal hemorrhage, which occurs when a blood vessel ruptures and leaks - affecting the sound of the voice.
Fortunately, the songstress managed to recover - but, after returning to the live stage, Adele lost her voice again.

As a result, Adele she was forced to cancel several US tour dates in June 2011.
Speaking at the time she said: "I was in Minneapolis, which was about halfway through the tour. I made a Skype call in the morning on the day of the show, and during it, my voice suddenly switched off like a light!
Dr Steven Zeitels, whose patients have included the likes of Lionel Richie and Roger Daltrey, treated the star at the end of 2011.

"It was a bit traumatic," she revealed. "Thank God my voice healed. I stuck to all of the rules they gave me."
Adele was forced to cancel her long awaited residency in Sin City earlier this year after telling fans she 'wasn't ready'.
However, the star's now back with aplomb, regaling audiences with her incredible voice - which has made her one of the best-selling artists of all time.
