Coronation Street spoilers — fans slam show for ‘constant misery’ amid Ryan acid attack storyline – plus EastEnders news

CORONATION Street fans are struggling to handle to show's barrage of "miserable" storylines.

This comes as Paul Foreman - who is played by actor Peter Ash in the ITV soap - will soon discover he has motor neurone disease (MND) and the storyline will follow the terminal life-shortening illness.

The hit ITV show is also set to see Ryan come to terms with his life-long injuries after protecting Daisy Midgley from an acid attack and delve deeper into Amy's tragic rape storyline.

It all became too much for viewers who have hit out at the endless misery in Weatherfield as one wrote: "Literally can't deal with all this misery on Corrie, it's all negative."

A second said: "Tired of the constant depressing stuff." While another said: "I'm switching off. It's all just bad stuff."

    The 60-year-old said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the cast of EastEnders to take on the role of George Knight. 

    “I’m excited to explore the character of George, a true East End gentleman, having been born in the East End myself.”

    Also at the factory serial killer Stephen Reid continued to plot his next heinous crime after Michael Bailey discovered he had lied about the American deal being tanked

    And it was all too much for those watching at home - with many hitting out at the endless misery in Weatherfield.

    One wrote: "Literally can't deal with all this misery on Corrie, it's all negative."
