Georgia Harrison 'warned' Stephen Bear sex tape would 'ruin her life', court hears

Stephen Bear’s alleged revenge porn victim has taken the stand – detailing how she warned the reality star the footage would “ruin my life”, if it got out.

Stephen pleaded not guilty in July in 2021 to voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs or films, but the trial is only now beginning after it was pushed back from February.

The Ex on the Beach star, 32, is accused of filming himself having sex with Georgia Harrison at his home in 2020, and then sharing the CCTV video on OnlyFans and adult site Pornhub without her consent.

Georgia's representatives said she has waived her right to anonymity in relation to the case as the hearing went underway today.

Taking the stand at Chelmsford Crown Court today, 27-year-old Georgia described how in August 2020, she and Bear met up hungover at his house in Loughton after they had both been on separate nights out, went out for lunch and then drank at his house.

She said she was “feeling drunk” by the time they went outside to his garden to play cards.

The pair then went on to have sex in the garden, and Georgia told the court the intercourse was “a lot more exciting, a lot more dramatic than usual, when I look back.”

It was only after the sex that Bear told her the CCTV in his garden might have captured it, and she demanded to see the footage.

Love Island star Georgia relayed how she told him “if anyone sees that it’s going to change my life, it’s going to change yours.”

Georgia said his response to this made her feel she was being “really uptight”, and “exaggerating something that wasn’t intentional”.

That evening, Georgie alleged she saw Bear send the video to someone on WhatsApp, which he admitted to her, but said he deleted the message, and the recipient wouldn’t send it to anyone anyway.

Georgia said: “I was crying because I then realised potentially he was going to spread it and I realised the situation I got myself into. I was upset because I thought he had respect for me.

“I told him it would completely ruin my life and ruin his career and if he wants to send it to anyone it would be revenge porn, you go to prison for revenge porn and I would call the police.”

She described how Bear calmed her down and was nice to her, and said he “would never do that”.

The alleged victim then described how, a few months later, people started telling how they had seen clips or screenshots of the footage, and a fan from America even got in touch about it.

She described how in December she saw an advert for the footage on Bear’s OnlyFans page.

Georgia told the jury: “I have never given Stephen Bear permission to upload or show or distribute that video to anyone.”

She added to the jury she believes a later video Bear posted around the time the footage was circulating was about her – despite him not naming her. Bear denied the later video was about Georgia.

The reality star told the court: “It was clearly about me, it was at the time that the footage had surfaced and was being talked about online and in the press, and he was saying it wasn’t me. The last time we saw each other [before the 2020 incident] was two-years-ago in Thailand and that’s the last time we were amicable.

“It’s definitely me [in the video] but for a while he was trying to say it was someone else. I was really emotional and infuriated. I was adamant that I would be seeking the help of the criminal justice system. I couldn’t do it by myself.” She added that the voice notes allegedly sent to her made her “upset” as he “was trying to manipulate me, like he always does”.

The trial, expected to last at least four days, continues.
