Happy Valley fans all have the same complaint about tonight’s penultimate episode.

HAPPY Valley fans all have the same complaint about tonight’s penultimate episode.

The BBC crime drama will come to an end next week and it’s just too soon for viewers.

In tonight’s episode news of Tommy Lee Royce’s escape has spread and put the Cawood family on high alert.

The police offered protection for them all until he was caught but they went to hide out at Nev’s remote farmhouse instead, while Catherine went to work to help find him.

It all went awry when Ryan disappeared from his grandad’s and turned up at his uncle’s house.

But his aunt Ann, a victim of Tommy’s, decided to finally fill him in on exactly how evil his dad is.

“He’s a psychopath, he’s incapable of relationships,” she told him.

“What he did to your mum was no nicer than what he did to me. He raped her, he violated her, he traumatised her, he probably said the same imbecilic, degrading, humiliating things to her that he said to me.

“He made her feel so wrong in herself that ending her life became a desirable option.”

Turning the screw, she told him how Tommy forced his mum into getting pregnant to humiliate her - and to control her.

She told him how he destroyed their entire family and that Ryan had let him use him to hurt Catherine.

Her words had an effect with him later telling his grandmother how much he loved her when they were reunited at Nev’s.

However Tommy then found a way to contact Ryan over his Xbox - and revealed his plan to flee the country with him for a new life in Spain.

Ryan has no idea that his dad is planning to kill his grandmother - leaving Tommy with a decision to make.

Meanwhile, Rob reported finding wife Joanna’s body in the suitcase and he was questioned by police.

They let him go - and even his mother had doubts about his guilt, while Faisel had yet to come under suspicion.

The episode left next week’s finale teed up for an explosive confrontation.

But viewers all have the same complaint about the show - they can’t cope with it nearly being over.

With the final ever episode just a week away, fans flocked to Twitter to rant.

One wrote:" I cannot believe there is only one more #HappyValley episode left ever."

A second said: "Trying to process there’s only 1 episode left of Happy Valley."

Another added: " I am not prepared for the last episode of #HappyValley"
