BRITS can now return to a popular holiday destination, without the need for a PCR test or Covid vaccine.
Morocco has scrapped both of the entry requirements, meaning it is now easier for holidaymakers to visit the North African holiday destination.
Before September 30, tourists were required to take a PCR test before travelling, if they weren't fully vaccinated.
Those who were vaccinated needed to show proof of their vaccination status.
However, both entry requirements are no longer in place, as the country eases its stance on foreign visitors.
Anyone visiting Morocco is still required to complete a passenger health form before arrival.
Face masks are also still compulsory in public spaces.
The UK foreign office warns that random lateral flow tests will be conducted upon arrival for "selected groups of passengers".
They also claim that additional PCR tests may also be required after 48 hours of arrival for randomly selected passengers.
Specific measures will be put in place for positive cases, including isolation at the passengers’ place of residence.
More serious cases would be transferred to hospital.
Morocco becomes the latest country to peel back more restrictions, with other popular destinations doing the same in recent weeks.
The Netherlands was one of the last countries in Europe to have restrictions still in place, prior to last month.
Brits needed to be fully vaccinated to visit until September 17 when this rule was scrapped.
A statement from the Dutch government reads: "The Dutch government has decided to lift the EU entry ban for the Netherlands as of September 17, 2022.
"Given the current epidemiological situation in the Netherlands, the government feels that for entry to the Netherlands, the EU entry ban is no longer proportional."
Spain also looks set to scrap more restrictions this month.
Travellers will no longer be required to have temperature and visual checks at the airport on arrival.
Holidaymakers travelling to Spain faced having the additional checks, with anyone reporting a high temperature forced to take a Covid test.
However, these restrictions are to be scrapped from next month, local media reports, although the Health Ministry is yet to officially confirm this.
Brits also need to have at least three months left on their passport to enter Spain.
