A STYLISH shopper has been left surprised with the fitting of a Skims dupe she purchased cheap from Amazon.
Content creator @jolielynea posted a review of the clothing item on TikTok to help fellow online shoppers.
Clothing dupes have become a crowd favourite for thrifty shoppers but the Skims from Amazon are causing a storm online.
In the clip @jolielynea showed viewers two Skims dupes she purchased.
She runs through the best features of the garment while flaunting the dress for the camera.
However, the woman was let down by the loose fitting.
She said: "I am too broke for Skims so I got some dupes instead.
"So unfortunately they are nowhere as tight as skims but I feel like that is more of a personal problem but yeah.
"I also have a black one.
"Black is always so sleek and sexy I love it and they really hug when you shake your booty.
"I'd give these a seven out of ten, only because it didn't fit as tightly as I wanted it to but I think I'll just take them in on the sides."
Other online shoppers tended to agree with the woman.
"You look so beautiful," a TikTok user said.
"Nice, we have some tools that could help you with low maintenance styles," one said.
"Thank you for the advice," another said.
Amazon is selling Skims dupes for about $17 a pop.
One reseller has gone viral for her giant haul of Amazon goodies that cost just $1 each.
However, when shopping online, consumers have been warned to avoid common shortcomings.
