Inside Mark Wright’s showbiz family tree after he speaks out on Dad’s heartbreaking ‘end of life’ confession

MARK Wright recently revealed his heartbreak at his dad's 'end of life' confession.

The former Towie star and TV presenter, 36, has filmed a brand new programme, A Wright Old Adventure, travelling the UK with his brother Joshua, 33, and father, Mark Wright Sr, 65.

But in an exclusive interview with The Sun's TV Mag, he recalled how the project was inspired by his father being extremely ill with coronavirus.

Following an emotional conversation, they're closer than ever - but Mark Sr, who fans will remember from past appearances on Towie, isn't the only showbiz member of Mark's family...

Wife Michelle

Since landing a career-making role in Corrie fifteen years ago, Michelle Keegan has become one of the best-loved actresses in Britain.

Having starred in prime-time dramas such as Our Girl, Brassic and Ten Pound Poms, the talented brunette, 36, has successfully made herself a household name.

The NTA-nominated star isn't just a whizz on the small screen - she made her radio debut on BBC Radio 1 in 2009 and even has her own collection with fashion retailer, Very.

Mum Carol

Carol joined Towie in 2011 during its second series, where Mark and his then-girlfriend Lauren Goodger were central to the show's main storyline.

Nowadays, the 63-year-old is one of Instagram's leading mumfluencers, where she boasts over 200k followers, but isn't shy of sharing a sexy swimsuit snap.

One sponsored post saw her promote Lenor Outdoorable Pink Blossom with a shopping video inside a Savers store.

Nanny Pat

Nanny Pat, formerly known as Pat Brooker, became a firm favourite on Towie during her five-year run on the show thanks to her one-liners and sausage plaits.

It was only after her husband Charles' death that her grandson Mark joined the show and she started making hilarious appearances, cementing herself as one of the UK’s most unlikely celebrities.

The straight-talking but loveable pensioner and mother-of-five died following a short illness in 2015 aged 80 - but not before penning two autobiographies.

Sister Jess

A woman of many talents, Towie alum Jess was once one fourth of girlband Lola - which Megan McKenna auditioned to be a part of.

She later signed with All Around The World Records as a solo artist, where her 2012 single Dance All Night reached number 36 in the UK Top 40.

Around the same time, the 37-year-old was also running her own fashion boutique, Love Jessica, in Loughton before its closure in 2014.

These days, she's kept busy as a mum-of-one to son Presley, 13 months, who she shares with her husband William Lee-Kemp.

Brother Josh

A pro footballer, Mark's rarely-seen brother plays as a midfielder for National League South side Ebbsfleet United.

Josh, 33, who shares sons Joshua and Dusty with his wife Hollie, married the swimwear boutique owner at a Majorca ceremony in 2018.

His second child was born 12 weeks prematurely in February, and finally came home after spending eight weeks in hospital.

The sportsman will explore the country with his brother Mark and father Mark Sr in the brand new BBC show.

Cousin Elliott

Elliot, 43, first burst onto The Only Way Is Essex in 2013 where he enjoyed a relationship with Chloe Sims – although left in 2015 to focus on expanding his restaurant empire.

The proud owner of Marbella cocktail bar Olivia's La Cala, Elliott's swanky hotspot was recently targeted by vandals, just two days after his bouncer was killed trying to stop a fight.

But in happier news, his wife Sadie gave birth to a baby boy, John Edward Albert Wright, in February.

John is Sadie's second child, and Elliott's fourth, having son Elliott Jr, 15, and 13-year-old Olivia from previous relationships.

Sister Natalya

While Mark and Jess shot to fame thanks to the hit reality series, a third Wright sibling took the modelling world by storm just a couple of years back.

When the show started filming in 2011, Natalya - now 22 - was still in primary school and was kept off-camera.

However, it wasn't long before modelling agencies saw Natalya's star potential and snapped her up at 16.

Influencer Natalya's shares her super glam life - from exotic holidays to lavish modelling shoots - with her boyfriend Tommy.
