Janey Godley's latest Liz Truss voiceover leaves fans in stitches

Janey Godley has once again left Twitter in hysterics with her latest stunt involving Prime Minister Liz Truss.

The Scots comedian is best known for her voiceovers of First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, but with someone new in charge in Downing Street, Janey has taken the opportunity to have a joke with some new material once again.

Over the past few days Mrs Truss has been accused of avoiding the press and dodging questions about the cost of living crisis.

This latest video shows the Prime Minister being interviewed and Janey says: "You want to know about the pound crashing and the fuel prices? Well let me just say this first.

"A don't know if you remember... big Sharon McDade? See Sharon, Sharon used to live up in High Carntyne, no Low Carntyne... she used to live in the prefabs before the prefabs got pulled down.

"And then she got a two up, two down... up and down stairs... back and front door just off of Thorntree School, just down in Greenfield.

"See Sharon, she used to live down there, now, me and Sharon were best pals. I hadn't see her for years - and I mean f******* years. On Facebook she pops up, and she's like how are you doing Liz Truss? A remember you used to come from Paisley.

"And I've went... listen Sharon I saw you, you stole my boyfriend Davie Wilson off me at the school disco. And she went I don't think so.

"I've blocked her on Facebook... so aye that's what's been happening. You want to talk about the economy? Aye all Putin, all Putin's fault. I wish everyone would stop blaming me."

Janey then joked that 'Sharon had a big brother who used to breed budgies' and fans have been quick to react to the video.

One tweeted: "I have missed these!"

Another commented: "Excellent."

Someone else replied: "Pure brilliant."
