Jeremy Clarkson set to launch new vodka range - made from cow's milk

Jeremy Clarkson reckons his latest bright idea is udderly brilliant – making booze from milk.

The Top Gear legend is turning out £39 bottles of Cow Juice Vodka at his Diddly Squat Farm.

The 40% grog is made from whey – liquid left over after milk is curdled and strained to make cheese.

Clarkson, 62, brags: “It’s by far the smoothest vodka in the coolest bottle…Distilled from whey, also used in protein drinks.”

The TV presenter is also dipping his toe in the alcohol-free drinks market at his Cotswolds holding, which is featured in hit Amazon Prime TV show Clarkson’s Farm.

They’ll be called Diddly Fresh containing diddly squat alcohol. He’s applied to the Intellectual Property Office to have the drinks sold at his farm shop trademarked.

Lawyers have published his application and it will remain law for 10 years if it is passed in the coming weeks. Clarkson’s Farm has been one of the big TV success stories of the last two years, winning praise from critics and fans following his antics managing 1,000 acres in Oxfordshire. A third series has just been commissioned.

But he has suffered a backlash over his infamous jibes against Meghan Markle – with three female stars refusing to work with him on a celebrity edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

He is not the first famous face to produce his own line in booze. Hollywood great George Clooney has raked in a fortune from his Tequila company.

This Morning host Phillip Schofield has had worse luck with his wine. Waitrose ditched it after people called it “undrinkable”.
