The Christmas tree festival has been a popular regular event in Cambuslang for a number of years.

The day will start with a Christmas Carol singalong coffee morning, running from from 10am until noon where you can enjoy freshly made pancakes, toasted fruit bread and mince pies along with tea or coffee and the chance to sing traditional Christmas Carols - and don't worry, a good singing voice is not necessary.

Afterwards there is the chance to visit the Sanctuary to view all the beautiful Christmas Trees, which have decorated by local schools and church organisations. There is also the opportunity to vote for your favourite one, too.

Ohna Robertson, the convenor of the church's fellowship team, said: "We would love to see as many people as possible join us to get Christmas off to a great start in Cambuslang."

The tree festival itself will be open from 10am until 4pm.
