Laundry expert shares 6 ways to de-crease clothes if you hate using the iron & hair straighteners are a game changer

THERE'S nothing worse than wanting to wear a certain top only to realise it's in the mountain of clothes that need to be ironed that you've put off.

We all hate ironing, but a laundry expert has revealed the six tips and tricks to get creases out of your clothes without using one.

We've all been in a rush to go out only to find our clothes wrinkled and creased without the time to get the iron and ironing board out.

Fortunately, Laundry Expert Deyan Dimitrov from Laundryheap has shared six easy hacks to get wrinkles out without using the iron.

Speaking to the Express, he revealed you can use all sorts of devices to get wrinkles out.

One clever way to remove wrinkles is by using your hair straightener said the laundry pro, who called 'your best friend' to get rid of them.

To use the hair tool, simply press on the garment to remove any unwanted wrinkles, but be wary of the temperature.

For cotton material, use high heat but when dealing with silk, use low heat.

Next, the laundry pro recommended using a hair dryer.

He said: For this tip, simply set your hair dryer to a hot setting and lay the fabric on a flat surface.

"For the purposes of keeping your fabric in top condition, don’t blow-dry too close."

Hold the dryer a couple of inches away from the fabric and use the nozzle attachment to direct hot air on stubborn wrinkles.

Another great way to banish wrinkles if you don't have a hair tool to hand is using the mattress of your bed.

He revealed: "The weight of the mattress will then press your garment and effectively remove any wrinkles."

Place the garment under the mattress for 15 to 30 minutes.

Bizarley, the laundry expert also recommended using a teapot to get rid of wrinkles if you are really in a pinch.

Boil the water and then pour it out in a sink and over a teapot, leaving the teapot empty but hot.

After, use the teapot just like an iron and press it on the garment on a table.

Only use this method with cotton, wool, or linen, any clothes made with plastic or vinyl will melt.

A damp towel can also tackle wrinkles by placing it on top of the clothing item and press down to smooth them out.

Finally, the laundry pro recommends placing the clothing item into a tumble dryer for five to ten minutes.

He explained: "If you spot any stubborn wrinkles, simply put the garment in the dryer with a damp towel which helps create steam and eliminate the wrinkles.
