South Lanarkshire libraries are taking part in a welly swap in a bid to help local families save money.
The Welly Swap aims to help locals save their cash during the current cost of living crisis and offers a sustainable alternative to throwing away outgrown wellies.
Residents can take their old, outgrown wellies and swap them for a new pair.
The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

The following libraries are participating: Hamilton Town House Library, East Kilbride Library, Greenhills Library, Avondale Community Wing, Carluke Library, Lanark Library, Cambuslang Library, Rutherglen Library and Larkhall Library.
To donate or swap wellies, locals cam visit one of the council’s participating libraries and browse for their size. All wellies donated must be clean and in a good condition.
The Welly Swap will run until Wednesday, December 21.
The initiative is part of the council’s Warm Welcome scheme to help families with the cost of living over the winter, a range of other schemes have been launched to offer support to locals.
