Motorists warned to use diversions as Coatbridge road set for five-day closure

Motorists are warned to use diverted routes when a Coatbridge road shuts for five days next week.

Yetts Hole Road in the town, from 80m north of Burnlip Road to 150m south of Cromlet Farm Cottage, will be closed from November 29 until December 2.

This is to allow for carriageway resurfacing and drivers will be able to use Mollinsburn Road and the B803 Coatbridge Road as diversions.

And carriageway repairs will see Glenboig’s Glenboig Road shut for three days from December 20.

The closure will run between Drumcavel Road and Johnston Road and those two roads and Avenuehead Road, the A80 Cumbernauld Road, the B765 Avenue End Road and the A752 Coatbridge Road will act as alternative routes.
