My romantic night out at Christmas markets went horribly wrong after I went on funfair ride, I hated every second

IT was supposed to be a romantic night out at a Christmas market under the twinkling festive lights.

But Rhea Foreman, 27, wound up screaming for help as she feared she was going to barf.

Everything went wrong after she agreed to get on the Twister ride at the Christmas markets in Edinburgh with boyfriend Craig Carracher.

She had no idea what it did and after being thrown about was terrified she was going to spew and ruin their night.

Luckily Craig, 36, caught the whole hilarious festive meltdown on camera.

Rhea said: “I thought I’d love it - but I hated every second.

“I didn’t realise how fast it was going to go and how much I’d be flung about.

“I couldn’t even see anything. All I could make out was lights. It was awful.”

Craig and Rhea, from Edinburgh, headed to the world-famous market and sampled some moonshine shots.

After that she happily agreed to get on the fast-moving ride without ever seeing it in action. They forked out £6 each.

Craig’s video shows her happily  singing along with Christmas tunes as it starts off slowly.

She says: “If it went like this the whole time, I’d love it.”

But as it picks up more speed restaurant worker Rhea’s face drops and she begins to have second thoughts.

There’s room for three on the ride and she’s hurled into the empty space as the ride gets faster.

Whenever the operator makes an announcements, Rhea thinks he’s talking directly to her.

Rhea shouts: “I feel sick. Stop the machine.”

At the end she vows never to get on another funfair ride.

Local government worker Craig said: “I loved every minute of it. I was wetting myself at Rhea because she was so funny.

“I don’t think she had any idea how much it was going to spin.  I’m so glad I managed to record it all.

The pair will be making a return to the Christmas market soon and Craig is hoping to lure Rhea onto another ride.

He said: “It was so much fun for me. It was the best £12 I’ve ever spent in my life.”

Rhea said: “Absolutely not. What a waste of money. I won’t be doing that ever again.”
