Police launch urgent search for 14-year-old who vanished from Scots town

Police have launched an urgent appeal to trace a missing teenager who vanished from an East Lothian town a day ago. Aaron Anderson, 14, was last seen in the Newbigging area of Musselburgh at around 3pm on Thursday, 23 March.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the boy who is from the Pinkie Drive area of the town. They are asking anyone who may have seen him to get in contact and assist with their enquires.

Aaron is described as being 5ft 1 with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans and black and orange trainers.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace 14 year old Aaron Anderson who has been reported missing from Musselburgh, East Lothian.

"Anyone who may have seen Aaron, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2680 of 23/03/2023."
