Pregnant Ferne McCann 'figures out' gender of unborn baby after suffering new illness

Pregnant Ferne McCann jokingly predicted the gender of her and fiancé Lorri Haines' baby after getting ill.

She is expecting her first child with Lorri. The TV personality has a five-year-old daughter, Sunday, from a previous relationship.

The 32-year-old reality star opened up about the side effects of pregnancy during a new episode of First Time Mum.

She chatted to Lorri about her pregnancy and said she's been dealing with a lot of migraines.

Ferne said: "The one thing that I've had is migraines, and I just spoke to my mum on FaceTime and I can't remember ever getting migraines before.

"But she said to me 'no you definitely did [when pregnant with Sunday]' which leads me to think we're having a girl." To which Lorri joked: "A house full of women, I can't bloody wait."

Ferne and Lorri aren't finding out the baby's gender but are thinking of potential names for the arrival.

A few days ago, she took to social media to ask her followers for assistance with thinking of boy names.

"We still do not have a boys' name," she said.

"And I thought, shall I spend ten minutes before bed just having another browse because I have ditched the name website things and I am now looking at Instagram.

"We have no boy names, we are not finding out the gender. We have got our girls' name, no boys' name.

"Lorri is bringing nothing to the table. Zilch. What did we say earlier? Aquarius? I quite like that. Do you?"

Her fiancé said: "No, it doesn't roll off the tongue, it's too long-winded."

Ferne's baby is due to arrive this summer and she recently admitted that she's still getting used to the idea of having a bigger family.

“I’m like, ‘Wow, I’m going to have two children – that’s more responsibility, more moments, more tantrums,’” the 32-year-old told Mirror. “Even speaking about it now, I’m like, ‘Wow, this is actually happening!’ It will all fall into place, but it’s big.”

The Essex girl described being pregnant as “really positive”, adding, “Babies and children coming into the world, they’re such little blessings. I’ve got something to work towards and I’m really excited for that moment when the baby’s here. It has given me that focus again.”
