Lyndsey Gardner, 36, was at her house in Tranent, East Lothian, when police arrived in an early morning swoop.

Officers recovered a tub of white powder from the utility room cupboard, as well as a further nine wraps of powder and drug paraphernalia.

Analysis found the powder was cocaine, with the contents of the tub valued at £5120 and the wraps another £950.

Gardner appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday and admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine between July 28 and September 9 2021.

Gardner will be sentenced in April.

Fiscal depute Chelsea Martin said messages on a phone recovered at Gardner’s home during the search indicated she was involved in drug dealing during this period.

Sheriff Chris Dickson told Gardner, who has since moved to a different address in Tranent, that “dealing in Class A drugs is a serious matter”.

He deferred sentence until next month for reports.
