Strictly Come Dancing demand 'stop it' as fans complain minutes into live show

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were less than impressed with the live audience during the second live show on Saturday.

Jody Cundy was one of the first celebrities to take to the dance floor and Craig Revel Horwood had some slighter harsher words for the Paralympian As the judge delivered his feedback, booing could be heard from the audience. Later, as head judge Shirley Ballas criticised Nigel Harman's Viennese Waltz, the audience erupted into boos yet again.

Struggling to finish her sentence, Shirley remarked: "Hold on a minute, you might learn something." Strictly viewers agreed with the head judge as one tweeted: "I hate the audience. If a dance is s**t, the judges have to mark it accordingly. Stop f****g booing. #Strictly."

"Stop the booing - how else will he learn ??? #strictly," one fan remarked after Jody's performance before later adding: "Well said Shirley - STOP THE BOOING #strictly." Someone else shared: "Annual STOP BOOING CRAIG tweet #Strictly #SCD."

A fifth commented: "What really bugs me is when a judge, mainly Craig, says anything bad or give low scores and they immediately get booed. Like the audience can't handle the truth. I mean booing is awful and only acceptable for panto baddies #Strictly."

Ahead of tonight's second live show, Nikita Kanda found herself most at risk of becoming the first celebrity to be eliminated from this year's series. The radio presenter suffered a huge blow before taking to the dance floor for a second time as bookmakers Ladbrokes tipped her for an early Strictly exit.

Nikita, who is partnered with Gorka Marquez was one of the lowest scoring celebs in last week's opener, and has subsequently seen her odds of an early exit slashed by the bookies. Before the second live show, she was tipped as the 6/4 favourite to be sent packing on Sunday, ahead of Les Dennis at 2/1.

Love Island star Zara McDermott is 6/1 to leave the show this weekend, while Channel 4 news anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy is next in the betting at 7/1. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Punters can't seem to get behind Nikita, and despite plenty of names being bigger outsiders to win this year's Glitterball Trophy, the latest odds suggest she'll be the first casualty of the series."
