Tyson Fury considering retiring after Chisora and uses Floyd Mayweather as example of why he is ‘very worried’ about it

TYSON FURY has revealed he could retire again after fighting Derek Chisora in a bid to ensure he does not carry on boxing for too long.

The Gypsy King, who returns on Saturday against Derek Chisora, has admitted he simply does not know how to leave the sport behind.

It comes with the likes of American legend Floyd Mayweather, 45, still competing in exhibitions bouts, most recently against YouTuber Deji, 25.

Fury, 34, said on The MMA Hour: “I’m very worried because I can’t let go just like most of the great champions throughout history.

"Look at Floyd Mayweather. The guy’s 45 years old taking f****** fights against YouTubers and stuff because he can’t let it go.

"It’s a very difficult thing to let it go. Very difficult.”

Fury faces old friend-turned foe Chisora, 38, at Tottenham to complete their trilogy series, following his pair of wins in 2011 and 2014.

It is his first fight since knocking out Dillian Whyte, 34, in April, the night he told Wembley Stadium he was done for good.

But his latest retirement lasted just a matter of months before the WBC champion was drawn back in.

Fury said: “I was at home, I did everything I wanted to do. I wanted to spend some time with my family. I wanted to be that father.

"The kids, the school runs and all that, the dog, I wanted to do all that sort of stuff.

"Then I realised that’s for normal people and I’m anything but a normal person.

"I’m like an abnormal alien. I only thrive when I’m in training camp for a fight.

"I really don’t know what’s going to happen in the future when that is not an option anymore. I’m pretty f***** up, I think."
