A UNION inflicting strike misery is embroiled in a racism row after a senior member was photographed mocking boat migrants.
Sam Shaw posed in a dinghy with a person seemingly dressed as IS bride Shamima Begum.
Another man in a black wig and lifejacket was also in the snaps with Mr Shaw, who had been running to sit on Unite’s executive council.
The union, Labour’s biggest donor, is involved in the NHS and rail strikes crippling Britain.
Unite criticised the pics and said it was looking into disciplinary action.
It said: “These photos of Sam Shaw with people in racist fancy dress are deeply offensive.
“We are informed that he has withdrawn his candidacy.”
“Please be clear that his candidacy for the Executive Council was not endorsed by the General Secretary, who is not even aware of him.
