Watch as impatient driver makes dangerous overtake on suburban street and roars off – karma is just around the corner

LOST FOCUS

A VIDEO of a driver making a dangerous overtake on a suburban street has been uploaded online.

The video, filmed with a van's dashcam and uploaded on TikTok by @victor_immz caught the moment that karma struck for the driver.

The video was filmed in Birmingham and starts with a Ford Focus acting impatiently behind another car.

Despite the road being a quiet suburban route, the Focus driver loses patience and goes for an overtake at high speed.

It then roars off down the road, but when the camera van catches up it's clear the Focus driver wasn't paying attention.

The Ford has been involved in a large smash, probably due to the fact it's raining and the road is soaked.

At least three cars were involved in the accident caused by the Ford.

The person who filmed it all is an ASDA delivery driver, who confirmed that one driver was injured.

Most TikTok users were outraged by the Ford driver's actions.

One said: "Karma doesn't forgive anyone, this is what happens when people are impatient."

Another said: "Wow, that is just unbelievable. I want to say he got what's coming for him, but the other cars are victims."

Another said: "Patience when driving is the key, but also watching your speed in a residential street and driving to the conditions.

The speed limit is normally 20 or 30mph in suburban streets.

According to the Highway Code, the minimum penalty for speeding is a £100 fine and three penalty points added to your licence.

If you have more than 12 points within three years, you can be banned from driving.
