GNN investigation has uncovered that serious discussions are currently taking place between two leading opposition political leaders aimed that building a strong collaboration to battle the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) during the October polls.
This unconfirmed information seems to have serious backings, as many Liberians are collectively opting for a serious collaboration between the two opposition political parties, Alexander Benedict Cummings of the Alternative National Congress (ANC) who is also head of the two Collaborative Political Parties (CPP), the breakaway Liberty Party (LP) of businessman Musa Bility and Cummings’ ANC, and Joseph Nyuma Boakai of the former ruling Unity Party (UP).
This reported marriage between the ANC and the UP if the information gathered is true, it will really be a ‘Do or Die’ on the part of the governing CDC of President George Manneh Weah during the upcoming polls as being conceived by many political observers, and analysts who believed that both Cummings and Boakai must see the reasons if they are to succeed in their respective bid for the country’s presidency.
Over the last months many Liberians have been wondering the continues delay in the naming of both Cummings and Boakai running mates, this situation created more questions than answers; with many believing that their respective delayed in the naming of their running may have given rise to this reported closed door discussion for a possible collaboration between both political leaders of the country’s main opposition political parties.
GNN investigation has realized that a serious political puzzle is in the making to surprise thousands of Liberia electorates, whenever such would be decisions are publicly taken by announcing the collaboration, this will seriously be a very big surprise to Liberia.
