The organisers of the annual MTN Liberia Music Awards (MLMAs) are inviting submissions ahead of the 2023 edition.
Since its inception in 2009, the MLMAs have recognised and celebrated exceptional artists in the vibrant Liberian music scene. Beyond local recognition, the MLMAs also serve as a platform to showcase these talented artists on a global stage, fostering their visibility and impact in the international music community.
During last year’s ceremony, Afropop singer TeddyRide emerged as the biggest winner, taking home the coveted Artist of the Year trophy. The musician also scooped three other awards in Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Collaboration of the Year categories.
Nominations are open for songs, DJs, artists or groups, videos and videographers. To be eligible for nomination, Liberian artists or their representatives must register and submit their works here(link is external).
Only works released between August 2022 and July 2023 are eligible.
The deadline for registration is 3 September.
