Gloria Musu Scott’s Woe Deepens, Amid Reported Criminal Indictment Against Her And Three Others

Unconfirmed report reaching this news has disclosed that the Ministry of Justice through the Liberia National Police will shortly issue criminal indictment against the former Chief Justice, Gloria Musu Scott and three members of her family at the

Headquarters of the Liberia National Police today’s, Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

Speaking to the GNN via mobile phone, the Attorney General of the Republic of Liberia who is also the Minister of Justice, Cllr, Frank Musa Dean, Jr., on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, revealed that the former Chief Justice is currently under investigation but declined to give detail.

The Liberia National Police (LNP), last Wednesday, requested the Legal Team of Justice Scott to present her and three other family members on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 9:00 am, but their appearance was postponed to Friday, June 16, 2023.

On Friday morning, amid heavy deployment of riot and armed police on the grounds of the LNP Headquarters, Justice Scott’s lawyers presented a letter of excuse, asking for an extension to Tuesday, June 20, 2023, citing health reasons.

The police gave no particular reason for the latest request, but again, in the wake of that, unofficial information about Justice Scott’s planned arrest has emerged.

The three other family members expected at the LNP Headquarters are her aunt, Rebecca Youdeh Wisner, Gertrude Newton and Alice Johnson or AC.
