Latest report from the Mandoli Prison Complex in India has revealed that one of the prisoners, a Liberian who was recently flogged by his fellow inmates is slowly dying, as prison authorities have allegedly refused for concerned Liberians who have gone there to intervene on grounds that there is no diplomatic representation between Liberia and that country.
According to the report, Jerome Sackie who has reportedly been in prison for over six for his alleged involvement in a fistfight with an Indian woman was arrested and detained, and since then he has been in prison along with several Liberians who are accused of committing crimes against Indian laws.
