Liberia’s 176th Independence Day Orator, Expresses Dismay Over Country’s Backwardness

The Orator of the 176th Independence Day, the Chairman of the National Transitional Council, Chief Zanzan Karwah has expressed dismay over the current state of affairs of Liberia, accusing people he called the Americo-Liberians of being the factor behind the country’s nightmare.

Speaking through an interpreter, the head of the country’s National Traditional Council head used his oration to accused the minority elite for the problem Liberians are currently undergoing.

 Chief Karwah also used the occasion to announced ban on all traditional practices until the closed of the country’s elections scheduled for October 10, 2023.
