Bailey Zappe’s girlfriend, Hannah Lewis, emotional over Patriots rookie’s first-ever touchdown

Bailey Zappe’s girlfriend, Hannah Lewis, was apparently in tears while watching the Patriots rookie throw his first career NFL touchdown in Sunday’s loss to the Packers.

Lewis took to her Instagram story to repost a video clip of Zappe connecting with receiver DeVante Parker on a 25-yard play-action pass.

“I’m not crying you are!!” Lewis wrote over her post.

It was Parker’s first career touchdown as a Patriot to reclaim the lead, 17-14, late in the third quarter.

“OMG… It’s Zappe Hour,” Lewis exclaimed in a separate Instagram story post.

The couple celebrated their five-year dating anniversary in September. Lewis has publicly supported Zappe’s NFL career on social media since the Patriots drafted him in the fourth round out of Western Kentucky in the spring.

Zappe, 23, has been the team’s third-string quarterback since the start of training camp, behind Brian Hoyer and starter Mac Jones — who suffered a high-ankle sprain against the Ravens last week.

Hoyer left Sunday’s game in the first quarter with a head injury after he was sacked by Packers linebacker Rashan Gary.

Zappe went 10-for-15 for 99 yards and a touchdown in his NFL debut, which ended in a 27-24 overtime loss.

“Of course, it was exciting at first,” Zappe said of his NFL debut. “It was a dream come true to play in an NFL game. It’s obviously not the outcome we wanted at all.

“First, I give credit to my teammates. They kept me calm. Getting the nerves out of me. They kept me in my space — cool, calm and collected. And everyone played well tonight. O-line played well. We ran the ball well. It really just comes down to me. I need to make more plays and the outcome’s different.”
