Puerto Rican singer, actress, dancer and model Jennifer Lopez was born on July 24, 1969 in the Bronx, a borough of New York City, and was rasied by Puerto Rican immigrant parents. Lopez started her infamous career as a back up dancer, daning for MC Hammer, the Spice Girls and Jannet Jackson. Lopez first rise in the limelight when she was casted as the singer Selena Quintanilla-Pérez in the biopic "Selena."

Cuban-American Armando Christian Pérez, whose stage name is Pitbull, was born in Miami, Florida on January 15, 1981. His upbring in Miami exposed him to many different types of spanish cultures, which he incorporates in his music.

In 2015, Lindor was called up to the Major League and was on Cleveland's active roster till 2021, when he was traded to the New York Mets.

Oscar De La Hoya was born February 4, 1973 in East Los Angeles, California to Mexican immigrant parents. De La Hoya started boxing in the mid 80s, and began his professional career in 1992. He won 11 world titles in six weight classes, including the lineal championship in three weight classes. In 2015 De La Hoya was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame.

Laurie Hernandez was born on June 9, 2000 to Puerto Rican immigrant parents in Old Bridge Township, New Jersey. At the age of 16, Hernandez competed with the US Olympic gymnastics team in Rio De Janeiro, where she won a silver in individual and gold with the team.
