Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld continue to have the shine of an apparent new couple.
The Bills’ quarterback and the “Edge of Seventeen” actress were spotted out and about in New York City in another telltale sign that Allen’s previous relationship with Brittany Williams appears to be finito.
The rumors of the split began when internet sleuths noticed Williams had unfollowed Allen on Instagram, which never seems to be a good sign these days.
A People Magazine source close to Steinfeld confirmed that she and Allen have been “hanging out for a few weeks.”
The unnamed source continued, “It’s new, but they are having fun.”
No word just yet on how they met, but that information is likely to come out soon.
Steinfeld, 26, has starred in “True Grit,” “Pitch Perfect 3” and “Bumblebee”.
She also has a voice role as Gwen Stacy in the animated “Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse,” which comes out later this week.
Allen, 27, is entering his sixth NFL season.
The Bills’ first-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft has made two Pro Bowls and finished third in the MVP voting last season as Buffalo went 13-3 (they had their Week 17 matchup voided after safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field).
The Bills lost 27-10 to the Bengals in the AFC divisional round.
During the 2021 offseason, Allen signed a six-year extension with the Bills worth a total of $258 million, with $150 million guaranteed, that would take the partnership through 2028.
