‘Sex/Life’ Season 2 Premieres March 2: Here’s Everything We Know

The first season of Netflix‘s steamy soap Sex/Life, which premiered in June 2021, was a short and sweet six episodes, and once fans had binged them all, they immediately started wondering when the sexy series would return for Season 2.

Just yesterday we learned that the wait is over. The erotic drama about a suburban housewife (Sarah Shahi) who can’t help but be hung up on her sexual fantasies of an old flame (Adam Demos) will be back on March 2 with all new episodes.

Netflix dropped a teaser trailer for the new season yesterday, giving us a minute-long preview of what’s to come.

“Not everyone has it, the desire to wake up, stop sleepwalking through our lives,” Shahi says in a voiceover. “To stop trying to do the right thing, while denying our truth. But those of us who do, we tread in dangerous waters.”

She ends the clip by saying,”Because once you wake up, once you get even just a tiny taste, there’s no going back.”

The second season of the show will pick up on the story of Billie Connelly (Shahi), the Connecticut housewife and mother of two whose life in the ‘burbs has been lacking the spice of her single life. Despite Connelly’s idyllic marriage to her husband Cooper (Mike Vogel), she fantasizes about her younger self in New York City, and starts to journal about her past to relive her wild days, specifically with her old flame Brad (Demos).

Billie begins to bring some of these fantasies to life, and by the end of Season 1, she realizes that she actually wants to be with Brad so she can make all of these fantasies come true.

In Season 2, will she still be with him, leaving her suburban life behind? Or will she return home to the comfort and stability of Cooper? More importantly, do you actually care about any of this plot when really, we’re all just watching it for the scenes of hot people doin’ it?
