Trump rips ‘radical’ Manhattan DA Bragg, taunts ‘horseface’ Stormy Daniels over renewed hush-money probe

Former President Donald Trump on Monday railed against “Radical Left” Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg — calling the renewed probe into hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels “a continuation of the Greatest Witch Hunt of all time” and taunting the porn star as “horseface.”

Trump, 76, also referred to Daniels as “Horseface” in the rambling post he fired off on his Truth Social platform just hours after David Pecker, the former publisher of National Enquirer, appeared before a grand jury in relation to Bragg’s criminal probe.

“With murders and violent crime surging like never before in New York City, the Radical Left Manhattan D.A., Alvin Bragg, just leaked to the Fake News Media that they are still going after the Stormy ‘Horseface’ Daniels Bull….!” Trump wrote in the afternoon post.

“Working closely with the Weaponized Justice Department, this is a continuation of the Greatest Witch Hunt of all time.”

Bragg has convened a grand jury to weigh criminal charges against Trump and his role in the $130,000 hush-money payment to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, in order to stop her from going public about their alleged affair just before the 2016 presidential election.

Trump has denied the allegations and did so again on Monday.

“They long ago missed the Statute of Limitations, & I recently won big money against ‘Stormy’ in the 9th Circuit – NEVER HAD AN AFFAIR. This is old news!” he wrote.

Pecker, whose tabloid mag was allegedly involved in the Daniels payment, was seen walking into the Centre Street building Monday morning where a grand jury was sitting, according to sources.

Earlier this month, prosecutors also met with Michael Cohen, Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer.

The disbarred lawyer said he was “ordered not to disclose” what was discussed during the 2 1/2-hour meeting.

“I have tremendous confidence in the team that I met with yesterday, as well as their depth and knowledge regarding this and other matters,” Cohen said on Jan. 18.

Cohen pleaded guilty in 2018 to lying to Congress and campaign finance law violations involving the hush money payments to Daniels and ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal.

The US Attorney’s Office in Manhattan, however, opted not to prosecute Trump personally over the payments.

Instead, the Manhattan DA’s Office — then run by Cy Vance Jr. — began investigating the case in 2018 to see if any state laws were broken.

That resulted in tax fraud convictions against the Trump Organization and its longtime chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg under Vance’s successor, Alvin Bragg, who said his office’s Trump probe was moving to the “next chapter.”

The case was thrown into question in February 2022 when two top prosecutors, Mark Pomerantz and Carey Dunne, resigned amid disagreements with Bragg over how to proceed with the Trump probe.

But sources told The Post in November that Bragg’s office had resuscitated the case.

Pomerantz has since penned the book, “People V. Donald Trump: An Inside Account,” in which he writes that the investigation “developed evidence convincing us that Donald Trump had committed serious crimes.”

The impending publication has prompted Bragg to issue a warning to publisher Simon & Schuster this month that the book could prejudice his ongoing investigation.

Trump is also fighting the release of the tell-all.

A spokesperson for the Manhattan DA’s Office declined to comment. An attorney for Pecker also declined to comment.
