Try Guys’ Ned Fulmer Booted From YouTube Show After Workplace Affair: “We Do Not See a Path Forward Together”

Uh oh, will there be a Try Guys casting call in the near future? The group has announced their separation from Ned Fulmer after he admitted to having a “consensual” workplace affair, strongly implying that there’s at least one thing he shouldn’t have tried.

Fulmer, one of the original creators of the group, confirmed rumors of the affair today. “Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship. I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel,” He wrote, referring to his wife Ariel Fulmer, who he shares two children with.

He continued, “The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I’m going to focus my attention.”

The post followed a statement released by The Try Guys, roughly an hour earlier, which stated their separation from Fulmer. They wrote, “Ned Fulmer is no longer working with the Try Guys. As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together. We thank you for your support as we navigate this change.”

Ariel Fulmer has responded with, “Thanks to everyone who has reached out to me – it means a lot. Nothing is more important to me and Ned than our family, and all we request right now is that you respect our privacy for the sake of our kids.” She tagged both Ned Fulmer and The Try Guys in her post.

Fans have responded to the news on Twitter, with many upset that Fulmer has shattered his super dad/devoted husband persona. One wrote, “Ned Fulmer from The Try Guys cheating on his wife after his entire personality for years was loving his wife is the exact reason I do not trust men.”

Another tweeted, “Raise your hand if “Ned Fulmer cheating on Ariel” was not on your 2022 Bingo card.”

A third added, “My childhood is ruined after learning Ned Fulmer cheated on Ariel. Of all people it’s the “I love my wife” guy and they just celebrated their ten year wedding anniversary together… Ariel has been so supportive and loving since the beginning, Ned wtf were you thinking?”

The Try Guys became a prominent force in online culture in 2014 through their “Try Guys” coverage on Buzzfeed, which showed the group testing new products and trends, such as “The Try Guys Bake Bread Without A Recipe” and “The Try Guys Try Drag For The First Time.” The quartet left the company in 2018 to launch their own independent production company, releasing a co-written book, The Hidden Power of F*cking Up, and hosting the Food Network series, No Recipe Road Trip with the Try Guys. They now have their own YouTube channel, separate from the Buzzfeed brand.

The Try Guys originally consisted of Fulmer, Eugene Lee Yang, Keith Habersberger, and Zach Kornfeld. With Fulmer being booted, it is expected to continue with only the three personalities, who presumably will not be trying adultery any time soon.
