When Is Season 4 of ‘You’ Coming Out On Netflix?

Set your Instagram to private and watch your back because You is returning to Netflix. This week marks the premiere of Season 4, Part 1. And whatever you expected for Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), prepare to be surprised.

You has always had a wicked knack for reinventing itself. In Season 1, it started off as a simple boy-stalks-girl horror story. That then morphed in Seasons 2 and 3 into a sickly addictive saga about two of the most toxic killers to ever find each other. Now in Season 4 Joe has a new city, a new country, and a new name. Wondering when you can start pressing play? Here’s everything you need to know.

What Time Will You Season 4 Be on Netflix?

This release is a bit different from your typical Netflix original. New episodes of You Season 4 will be available to watch on Netflix starting Thursday, February 9 at 3/2c a.m. But unlike other seasons, not all episodes will be dropped at once. Only Part 1, which is composed of the first five episodes, will be available to stream in February. The remainder of this season will premiere in March.

How Many Episodes Are in You Season 4?

Altogether there will be 10 episodes. Like we mentioned before, Part 1 will be composed of the first five episodes of Season 4 and will premiere on Thursday, February 9. It will then be followed by Part 2 a month later on Thursday, March 9. That second half will also be composed of five episodes.

Is There a Trailer for You Season 4?

There is, and this time around Joe isn’t just in a new city. He’s in an entirely new country. As some unknown woman calls our Joe “Professor Jonathan Moore,” the trailer shows him pounding shot after shot surrounded by rich hotties.

“I fell in with the most insane, damaged people on Earth, a circle of privileged douchebags,” he says in a voiceover. But these privileged douchebags may not be who they seem. Scroll above to check out this giant party for yourself.

Who’s in the Cast of You Season 4?

We did the New York and LA thing. Now we’re doing the London thing, and that comes with a hard reset. You centers around Badgley’s (Gossip Girl) Joe Goldberg, a literary lover with a knack for murder. He’ll be joined by Tati Gabrielle (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Uncharted, Kaleidoscope), who joined last season as a librarian named Marienne Bellamy. But enough of the returning folks. Who’s new this season?

Charlotte Ritchie (Ghosts, Feel Good) plays Kate, an icy gallery manager who’s immediately suspicious of “Jonathan.” She’s joined by Stephen Hagan (Midsomar Murders), who plays her friend with benefits Malcolm; Tilly Keeper (EastEnders), who plays the rich, famous, and chaotic socialite Lady Phobe; Lukas Gage (The White Lotus, Euphoria), who plays Lady Phoebe’s playboy partner Adam; Amy-Leigh Hickman (EastEnders, Safe), who plays an exceptionally bright student in one of Joe’s classes named Nadia; and finally Ed Speelers (Outlander, Dowton Abbey), who plays author-turned-politician Rhys Montrose. We’ve seen Joe struggle to handle a single wealthy family. Now let’s watch him flounder as he’s forced to navigate the turmoils of London’s upper crust.

How Did You Season 3 End? Can I Get a You Season 3 Recap?

The big thing to know about You Season 3 is that Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) is no longer in the picture. After a season spent killing off various people who betrayed them or made them jealous, this less-than-happily married couple faced off against each other. Love almost came out on top, too. But Joe saw her plan coming and took the antidote to her poison, giving him the upper hand. Chopping off some of his toes, he burnt down their house and framed Love, making it look like she killed him in a manic rage. The last thing he did in America was leave his baby son Henry with the neighbors.

Season 3 ended with Joe darting off to Paris in search of Marienne. Who is Marienne, you ask? While Joe was playing house, this single mom was working as a librarian. They struck up a romance, and Joe even killed for her. But Marienne didn’t make the same mistakes as Love or Beck (Elizabeth Lail). Before her death, Love told Marienne exactly how obsessive Joe can be and told her to run. Don’t worry; Joe always has a new woman to stalk.
