Whoopi Goldberg slammed a critic Monday who falsely stated she donned a “distracting fat suit” in her new movie — making it clear she was not wearing one.

“A lady who writes for one of the magazines and she was distracted by my fat suit in her review,” Goldberg said on “The View”, referencing a Daily Beast article reviewing the movie Till, in which Goldberg plays Emmett Till’s grandmother.

“I’m just going to say this, I don’t really care how you felt about the movie, but you should know that was not a fat suit — that was me,” the ABC talk show host said.

Goldberg set the record straight in a segment on “The View” where she and co-hosts discussed the new movie, which opens in theaters October 14.

The film chronicles the story of Till’s mother Mamie, who fought for justice after her 14-year old black son was lynched in 1955 after being accused of whistling at a white woman. Goldberg is one of the film’s producers.

The Daily Beast did not immediately return a request for comment, but appeared to edit out the reference to Goldberg’s “distracting fat suit” after The Post reached out for comment.

Goldberg recently told Page Six she thinks it’s surreal that Carolyn Bryant Donham, the white woman behind Till’s lynching, is still a free woman.

“I don’t want her in jail but I want her in front of a judge and jury,” the actress, 66, said at the New York Film Festival.

”I want her to admit what she did and what part she had,” she added. “And then, you know, for me, that would be perfect, instead of still trying to hide what she did away.”
