During six seasons on “This Is Us,” he melted hearts as Kevin Pearson, one-third of “The Big Three.” Now, actor-producer Justin Hartley is back doing the same on Netflix’s holiday-themed rom-dram “The Noel Diary” (based on the novel by Richard Paul Evans). On- and off-screen, the actor admits he has a sentimental streak, and embraces his family’s treasured traditions.
“Every year, my mother gets me a Christmas ornament,” he tells Alexa. “I have one from every single year that I’ve been alive.” The co-owner of Revel Spirits is passing down that festive cheer to his daughter Isabella, 18. “Last year, we put up three trees — including a 15-foot one, which was kind of dangerous, but beautiful to look at.”
With any (production schedule) luck, Hartley, 45, who recently filmed “The Never Game” pilot for CBS and recorded the voice of Batman for the upcoming Spotify podcast “Harley Quinn & The Joker: Sound Mind,” will be home for the holidays. Here’s a list of the creature comforts never far from his side.
“I wear this style a lot, and I like that they have various color combos.”
“I travel a lot and enjoy coffee on the go. This is my favorite coffee maker to use.”
“This is my go-to sunscreen that I wear specifically for my face. Sunscreen is very important.”
“I love Omega watches. Right now, it’s Speedmaster for me.”
“You’ve got to root for your team. It’s the Dodgers or Bears for me.”
“These shirts are very comfortable, and that’s why they are my favorite to work in.”
“I use this every day. It’s easy, and your hair is all set in 13 seconds. Just run it through your hair, and style it the way you want.”
“These are a very comfortable, functional style.”
