Rashid Khan has been added to Afghanistan’s team for the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh, which begins on July 5. Rashid Khan was rested for the one-off Test at Mirpur.
Legspinner Izharulhaq Naveed, who performed well in the most recent Big Bash, has received his first ODI call-up. The squad that recently toured Sri Lanka includes Shahidullah, Zia-ur-Rehman, Wafadar Momand, Mohammad Saleem, and Sayed Shirzad.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board also chose ten players to make up the reserves for their next ODIs, the World Cup, and the squad to play Bangladesh.
The list of reserves includes the likes of Karim Janat, Gulbadin Naib, Naveen-ul-Haq and Darwish Rasooli.
