REAL NEWS: There has been an act of house break-in and larceny at a house under construction by the Antigua and Barbuda Housing Authority.
It is alleged that the 54-year-old Jennings contractor reported to the Grays Farm Police Station that the two-storey concrete house, located in Denfields, had been broken into and two glass push-up windows had been stolen.
This offence reportedly occurred between 4 p.m. on September 21 and 9 a.m. the following day.
Reportedly, the contractor had finished working on the day in
question and gone home, leaving the house secured.
However, upon his return the following day, he observed that the house had been burglarized and the windows were missing.
It is alleged that the perpetrator used a hard object to destroy the deadbolt lock and then used a flat object to open a front door.
Having entered, the intruder then went into a bedroom and stole the windows.
