Join Finite Magazine Lifestyle club at Ramokoatsi Recreational Park this coming weekend at the Lesotho Arts and Cultural Festival.
Coming up this Saturday is a diversified event that will see the young and the old rub shoulders and enjoy Basotho music cutting across all age groups.
The event will run from 10am until 2am on Sunday.
“We will have an official opening by the District Administrator, then followed by companies that will make brief presentations about their products and services. These are the likes of Basty’s kitchen, Pagama Dry Gin, House to House properties, LTDC and Bam Media,” said the Organizer Bokang Mohale.
“The main objective of this festival is to bring Basotho together to celebrate the diverse cultural heritage… to showcase Sesotho culture, boost tourism, and to encourage craft sellers and small businesses owners. It is an opportunity for Basotho of all ages and backgrounds to demonstrate the richness of our culture… display its richness, diversity, and vibrance,” he added.
Among prominent local artists, he mentioned local Famo artists such as Ntate Mantša and Fatere, as well as local DJs.
Mohale reassured about safety and security, saying “police will be present as well as security personnel to ensure our festival goers’ safety”.
