BANTU have parted ways with midfielder, Setho Moshoeshoe after two seasons.

The player’s two-year contract was just a month away from lapsing.

The Sunday Express is reliably informed that the decision was reached after it became clear that the player had a poor working relationship with newly appointed coach, Abram Mongoya. Mongoya joined the team last month.

“Setho Moshoeshoe is no longer Bantu player,” a source told the Sunday Express this weekend.

“His contract was terminated after he agreed with the team to end their working agreement. It was discovered that the player was not getting along with the new coach. The two parties met, and the player didn’t have a problem with his contract being terminated.”

It is however, unclear what the payer’s next destination will be.

Bantu Communications and Marketing Manager Pule Mosoatsi could neither confirm nor deny the information this weekend.

“For now, I haven’t received such information on my desk,” Mosoatsi said.

Moshoeshoe joined the Mafeteng outfit in 2020 from LCS.

The former Liphakoe and Lioli attacking midfielder was once regarded one of Lesotho’s best footballing prospects during his days at Lioli’s developmental side, Hunters.

It was from Hunters where he moved to the United States where he stayed for a decade before returning home in 2016.

In 2017 he joined Lioli for six months before joining Liphakoe at the beginning of the 2017/18 season on a three-year deal. He did not stay long at Liphakoe after falling out with the management over indiscipline.
