CBS bags four PMR Africa Awards

COMPUTER Business Solutions (CBS) has yet again won big in the PMR Africa Awards.

This after bagging four awards at this year’s edition of the ceremony held in Maseru recently.

The information technology (IT) company was recognised for its excellence in IT consulting and IT sales and services. The exceptional performance earned the company a Golden Arrow Award.

The company was also recognised for its outstanding work in IT training and earned a Diamond Arrow Award, the highest recognition in PMR Africa’s scope.

CBS manager – corporate marketing, Molemo Pefole, told the Lesotho Times during the awards ceremony that his company benchmarked its work on excellent customer service. This is what has enabled the organisation to win several awards annually, he said.

“The company’s focus on the customer is borne out of its Vision, which is to be a customer-centric provider of enabling digital solutions, with a mission to empower clients with digital business solutions,” Mr Pefole said.

“Internally, CBS strives to instil a culture of service among its own dedicated and passionate staff. A reputation for superior service is a huge driver in the company’s journey to success and recognition.

“Covid-19 created some positive spinoffs, where technology was compelled to evolve at breakneck speed, creating a need for society to be connected at all costs. However, we are now seeing the back of the pandemic and most people have had to adopt technologies which we have the capacity to avail.”

Mr Pefole added that, technology was inherently built into the company’s DNA. He said CBS was focussed on bringing digital transformation to the local market in line with its vision of ushering in the fourth industrial revolution (4-IR) in Lesotho.

“Our company can be trusted to be the number one supplier of needful technologies as required by the government in improving the livelihoods of Basotho, as well as partnering with the private sector to make our people part of the global village,” Mr Pefole said.

CBS is also focussed on bridging the digital divide and spreading its solutions across the border to tap into the more advanced South African economy.

“This will help put Lesotho on the map as far as digital transformation is concerned and make our clients and stakeholders proud,” Mr Pefole said.
