I made £7,000 aged 15 with an easy upcycling side hustle – I even got my pals involved & helped them cash in

A MAN has claimed he made £7,000 when he was just 15 thanks to an easy upcycling side hustle.

He says it was so good he even got his pals involved who also cashed in.

The TikTok user known as Jacob Blank explained all in a short video on the social media site.

At the beginning of the footage Jacob said: “This side hustle is flipping junk, flipping random items.

“I leveraged up, offer eBay and Craigslist in order to do this.

“First I sold all my old toys that I didn’t want any more and one I ran out of my own stuff that I owned to sell I reached out to my parents and I said ‘hey, is there anything in the house that you want to get rid of?’ and I sold it and they let me keep all the profit.”

Jacob added: “Now that I ran out of stuff I started to need to make strategic partnerships and start scaling this like an actual business.

“So I reached out to different people. I reached out to my grandma’s handy man and he had a bunch of tools in his garage that he wanted to get rid of.

“I told him that I would provide a service to him and sell all his stuff and do all the work and get rid of everything he didn’t want and we could split the profits 50/50.

“I provided him with an easy service and helped him make money while I still made money and he wanted to do it and now I got a bunch more inventory.

Jacob didn’t just stop there though and got his friends to join in too.

He explained: “I partnered with friends, sold their old toys and split the profits and so on.

“And I scaled this like a business and I wound up making a ton of money at 15 years old.”

Earlier this month, another TikTok user revealed their side hustle with the woman claiming she only works 15 minutes a day but manages to make £2,500 a month.

Grete took to TikTok to share her story, and give more details about the "side hustle that changed my life in 6 months" - selling digital downloads on Etsy.

She added in the caption: "This can be you when you start TODAY.

"I work less than 15 minutes a day on my digital Etsy shops and make around $3k a month and it took me 6months to get there."

Elsewhere, new mum Millie White, from Sheffield, revealed her “fun” side hustle that nets her £1,000 a month.

in the middle of the pandemic, she turned her present-buying skills into an extra income stream which helped her to buy her first home last year with partner Brent, 27, a roofer.

Since having their daughter, Sadie, nine months ago, the money from Millie’s gift box business The Little Leopard Co has been crucial to help cover the soaring cost of food and other bills.
