Marks and Spencer has kickstarted the party season by offering some glamorous outfits that are ideal for Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The high street retailer is known for its simple yet classic fashion choices, and one dress in particular has been catching the eye of shoppers as we head closer to the festive season.
The Sequin V-Neck Midaxi Dress, which comes in black and champagne, is said to be "perfect" for parties - and according to fashion fans, the flattering dress "fits beautifully".
The glamorous dress costs £69, and is available in sizes 6-24 - although some sizes have been selling out, so shoppers shouldn't wait around to get their hands on one.
Birmingham Live reports that online, a product description reads: "Bring a little glitz to your party wardrobe with this sequinned cami dress.
"The regular fit piece is crafted with added stretch for comfort. It falls to an elegant midaxi length and features an alluring v-neckline which is framed by delicate straps."
Several shoppers have left glowing reviews of the dress online, with one happy customer saying: "I absolutely love this dress. Whoever said it would look good on anyone was right cos it even looks good on me!
"Perfect fit, hangs beautifully and I Love it. Thank you. At last I have found the perfect party dress."
Another shopper said: "Bought this dress to attend a charity ball. It fitted beautifully and had just the right amount of sparkle for the evening! Loved the length and the weight of the fabric. Liked the fact that the shoulder straps are adjustable."
While a third posted: "Gorgeous dress, I’m Only 5ft 4in tall so this was a perfect ankle length for me. It hangs beautifully & covers all my lumps and bumps. A wardrobe staple never goes out of fashion so superb value for money."
Despite having plenty of positive reviews, not everyone was happy with their purchase.
One critical customer described the dress as "difficult", writing: "Black sequin dress looked to be a good buy but the sequins seem to attach the sleeve to each other making the dress difficult."
As an alternative, Amazon is selling a similar Grace Karin Sequinned Sleeveless V-Neck Bodycon Dress for £38.99, which comes in an array of different colours.
As well as this, New Look is offering a Satin and Sequin V Neck Sleeveless Midaxi Dress for £37.99, coming in both black and navy.
