Street attack in Leeds sees man, 18, stabbed to death and boy seriously injured

An 18-year-old man has been stabbed to death and a boy has been left with serious injuries following a street attack in Leeds.

Police rushed to Hall Lane and Brentwood Terrace in Armley, west Leeds, shortly before 5.30pm yesterday.

An 18-year-old was rushed to hospital but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later. A murder investigation has now been launched.

The second victim, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with serious but not believed to be life-threatening injuries, reports Leeds Live.

A woman who moved to Armley five months ago said this was the third time police have descended on the area since she relocated, leaving her feeling unsafe.

The Mirror has contacted West Yorkshire Police for comment.
