BMMC’s Clan Development Fund At Work, As PMC Of Laar Clan Dedicates A Modern Clinic

The Project Management Committee (PMC) of Laar Clan in Gola Konneh District, Grand Cape Mount County has officially dedicated a modern clinic in Gondor’s Town.

The clinic project which started in 2014 by former Representative, Aaron Vincent came to a standstill for over eight years until the Bea Mountain Mining Corporation through its Clan Development Fund renovated and expanded the clinic to a standardized modern Health Facility for citizens in Laar Clan, Gola Konneh District.

The Project Management Committee has put the cost of the project at Two Hundred Fifty Thousand United States Dollars.

The dedicatory ceremony, which was held on Thursday, September 28, 2023; in Gondor’s Town brought together the Grand Cape Mount County Health Team, the County Local Authorities, the partner who funded the project Bea Mountain Minig Corporation, and Traditional Leaders among others.

Speaking at the program, the Administrative Manager of Bea Mountain Mining Corporation (BMMC ) Mr. Alpaslan Ozbilze said he was very proud to be part of the dedication of the Beh-Gondor Clinic project which was funded by Bea Mountain for the kids, women, and the citizens of Grand Cape Mount County.

Mr. Ozbilze further said that the clinic project is environmentally friendly due to the Solar System component that is attached to the health facility.

The BMMC Administrative Manager stressed that he was very grateful to see himself as a partner to the project that will provide health delivery services to the people in the county.

He extended greetings and best wishes from the General Manager of Bea Mountain Mining Corporation Reza Karimiyan to citizens of Laar Clan and Cape Mount and admonished them to use the facility meaningfully.

Speaking also to BMMC Media Team after the program, the Superintendent of Grand Cape Mount County Aaron Vincent expressed joy that his dream has come true, indicating that the long-awaited project has finally been completed.

At the same time, Superintendent Vincent has also lauded the Management of Bea Mountain Mining Corporation for the funding provided to the citizens of Laar Clan in Gola Konneh District Grand Cape Mount County to have the clinic constructed and opened to the public.

The Grand Cape Mount County Superintendent has also informed his citizens that the drugs at the newly open Beh-Gondor Clinic will not be completely free of charge, but noted that there will be a minimum fee given for those services being provided at the facility.

Hon Vincent concluded his statement by saying: “The final message to BMMC is that we appreciate them, we want to say thank you. In fact, we want to say thank God for Bea Mountain and we will work along with them and we will encourage our people to work along with them once they came to show that flexibility, we ourselves will cooperate with them we will coordinate with them and we will do everything humanly possible to work along with them,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, some women of Gondor’s Town have expressed thanks and gratitude to Bea Mountain for the funds given them to have the clinic built in their community.

The women also called on their female counterparts to always make adequate use of the health facility that has been provided to them through BMMC Clan Development Fund.
