Joel Cholo Brooks is a Liberian journalist who previously worked for several international news outlets including the BBC African Service. He is the CEO of the Global News Network which publishes two local weeklies, The Star and The GNN-Liberia Newspapers. He is a member of the Press Union Of Liberia (PUL) since 1986, and several other international organizations of journalists, and is currently contributing to the South Africa Broadcasting Corporation as Liberia Correspondent.
In continuation of its campaign trail, Unity Party (UP) Rescue Mission has been assured of the presidency by the people of Montserrado County District # 17 during a huge turnout in the district by overwhelming citizens.
Our reporter who covered the campaign rally of the UP saw thousands of supporters expressing their support to elect Ambassador Joseph Nyuma Boakai affectionately call Rescue One, and his running mate also known as Rescue Two of their support in the upcoming October 10, 2023 polls.
The citizens many of whom came from far and near communities in the district during the rally showed their willingness to support the Rescue Mission in its bid to capture state power, noted that they are committed to patiently await October 10 to vote Ambassador Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr as President of the Republic of Liberia.
