The United States of America is the leading contributor to United Nations peacekeeping missions, humanitarian and disaster relief worldwide. Liberia has been a beneficiary for these humanitarian interventions for which Liberians and Americans are grateful. On the question of elections, Liberia and Gabon participated in the Africa Summit hosted by President Biden at the White House in December 2022, during which time the United States pledged $165 million dollars to support democracy in African nations. However, in responding to this press statement on “Visa Restriction Policy on Undermining Democracy in Liberia”, we believe this policy is too little and too late because of the following three reasons:
- Liberia cannot be democratic because it was not created to be a democracy-“A government of the people, by the people and for the people.” “Garbage in-Garbage out.” Liberia was created unlawfully as a colony by the Government of the United States of America, using two acts of Congress, $100,000.00 in American taxes and the force of the United States Navy to advance American domestic and foreign policy agenda and colonize African American citizens in violation of the principles upon which America was founded: ” We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness.”
- The United States Government as a partner of the current Liberian government is aware that the current Election Laws and Liberia’s current electoral system which America is aiming to protect has absolutely no legitimacy because the entire process is not free, not fair, financially burdensome and designed to favor corrupt incumbents and American persons with green cards, American passports and access to opportunities in the United States. These individuals do not require visas to enter the United States and therefore visa restrictions against them is nothing but hot air with no consequences. In fact, it was the Government of the United States through Congress that codified racism on March 26, 1790 and set the stage for the ongoing crimes against humanity against citizens of the United States with ties and contributions that predated the American Declaration of Independence. For more than two centuries, codified racism, a crime against humanity initiated by the United States Congress has not been mitigated. In 2023, the poorest districts and enclave on Earth are Pine ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, USA and West Point, Monrovia, Liberia, where descendants of Americans continue to live in misery and die in poverty while reckless policies of public servants squander billions of dollars on wars combating Russian Colonization as forever American Colonization of Americans continues like the dangerous forever chemicals (PFAS). The current electoral system charges citizens up to $1500.00 in registration fees, $10,000.00 minimum personal bank account in districts without banks and $100,000.00 USD fin insurance bond for candidates without health insurance. Candidates in the pockets of foreign corporations and American persons with green cards or American passports enjoy unfair advantage in a playing field that is not level, not free and not fair and cannot possibly yield a democratic or fair outcome. Write-In” candidates are not allowed in Liberia. The will of the people is crushed!
- The State Department’s “Visa Restriction Policy for Undermining Democracy” is laughable because when it comes to visa policies and democracy, the Government of the United States is committing the worst egregious violations in the world. Firstly, descendants of Americans were ethnically cleansed from the land of their nativity in violation of the principles and blueprints on which the United States was founded through codified racism on March 26, 1790 to make room for European Immigrants to enjoy opportunities generated by the blood and sweat of Native Americans and enslaved African Americans and free African American citizens. Congress further enacted the Act of March 3, 1819 to colonize Americans because of the color of their skin and the Indian Removal Act in May of 1830 to banish Native Americans. In 1990, the US State Department sent a secret illegal order to the US Embassy in Monrovia, ordering staffers to deny visa for all Liberians (Blacks) fleeing the violence of the civil war organized and funded from Boston, Massachusetts, USA, while at the same time ordering staffers to grant visas to Lebanese and Indians. The Librarians have families in America but the Lebanese and Indians did not. In 2017, the US denied visas to over 70% of Liberian applicants, earning millions of dollars. According to Article 1 of the Liberian Constitution of 1824 approved in Washington, DC in May 1825, All persons born in Liberia …are entitled to all privileges enjoyed by citizens of the United States.” The law is still enforced (Miscellaneous article 1 of 1847 Constitution and Article 95 of the 1986 Constitution. Even without this law, diplomatic reciproporcity a dn the Treaty of 1939 for free movement of citizens demands that Liberians enter the United States anytime without visa restriction just as Americans have entered Liberia without visa for centuries. The deed for Liberia signed by US Navy Captain for purchasing land in Liberia states that the territory exists for the settlement of “Citizens of the United States of America.” Ten presidents of Liberia were citizens of the United States of America. It is believed that the top opposition politicians and the topp ruling party politicians and the First Lady are Americans that don’t require a visa to enter the United States.
To conclude, we consider Matthew 12:33 ” A corrupt tree cannot bear good fruits. A good tree cannot bear corrupt fruits.” US Ambassador Michael McCarthy summed it up:’ Corruption in Liberia is not limited to one administration or one political party. ” According to the Ambassador, corruption in Liberia is over two centuries old. We agree. The Opinion of the Attorney general Hon. William Wirt, #229 concluded the founding of a colony for Americans citizens of color under the guise of “freed slaves” by a group of high-ranking officials who were slave masters was unlawful. In 2023, an African nation is being branded by slave masters who never freed a single slave, President James Monroe-MONROVIA, Liberia! Slave Master and chief justice of the United States Supreme court, John Marshall-Marshall City, Liberia, Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court, and slave Master Bushrod Washington-Bushrod Island. and the Speaker of the House at Congress, slave master Henry Clay- Clay Street and Clay Ashland. All these men were corrupt white supremacists who abused their public offices to protect their private properties-enslaved Africans, decades after the landmark decision in Massachusetts 1781, Brom and Betts V. Ashley that made slavery illegal and freed an enslaved woman, Elizabeth Freeman. They are no longer alive but their crimes against humanity continue to ravage the lives of countless descendants of Americans and indigenous Africans suffering needlessly in West Point, Monrovia, Liberia and Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. As a taxpayer and a human being, I condemn the ongoing crimes against humanity and against indigenous Americans, African Americans and the Liberian people by the Government of the United states and corrupt Liberian politicians with access to the United states. I demand an investigation and call on the bipartisan Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission to visit West Point, Monrovia, Liberia and the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation to help heal and unite the deeply divided “United” States of America! Alas, “United we stand. Divided we fall.” US must allow visa waiver for all Liberians to work, study and do business in the USA NOW!
