Swapo deputy vice president Netumbo Ndandi-Ndaitwah called prime minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila to the podium at a Swapo meeting at Outapi in the Omusati region on Saturday to quash the notion that they are not united.
“We are all Swapo supporters and we are united,” Nandi-Ndaitwah said.
“The congress and campaigns are over and now we are back to being a united Swapo. We don’t want to hear talks of Swapo members discriminating against each other over who they supported during the campaigns,” Nandi-Ndaitwah continued.
“We are here together. You are saying we have not united because you have not seen us together on a Swapo platform, but we want to assure you that we are united,” she said.
Nandi-Ndaitwah was the main speaker at the meeting, which was attended by hundreds of people.
