Jayn Aeron launches product line at first make-up masterclass

RENOWNED make-up artist and creative entrepreneur Jayn Aeron is making major strides in their career after hosting a successful recent make-up masterclass and launching a line of personalised make-up brushes to perfectly symbolise the glamourous career they are synonymous with.

With years of experience under their belt, including working on celebrities like Lioness, Odile Gertze, Chikune and others, collaborating with international brands like Estée Lauder and MAC Cosmetics and gaining popularity as a beauty editor and content creator for Monochrome Magazine, Aeron’s years of work culminated in the masterclass.

“I wanted my first product to not only be authentic, but also very personal,” Aeron says about the class, themed ‘Renaissance’ (a Beyoncé album).

“I wanted to share this first with the people who made it to my masterclass.”

Comprising eight precisely designed brushes, the make-up collection has been carefully curated to encompass every vital facet of make-up application.

Aeron showcased the versatility of these branded brushes during the eight-hour demonstration, illustrating how they can be employed to attain impeccable make-up aesthetics.

“The event was a manifestation of everything I’ve dreamt of. I was so overwhelmed and nervous during the days leading up to it, but everything went even better than I could imagine. I can only thank God for the amazing experience I had putting this event together and all the amazing people I got to work with.”

Event spokesperson Rukee Kaakunga says the curriculum of the day encompassed diverse subjects, such as colour theory, skin type distinctions, brow sculpting, and hands-on application.

During breaks between sessions, participants indulged in an immersive journey, blending music with guided meditation – courtesy of Secret Sunrise – leaving them not only inspired but also eager to put their freshly acquired expertise into practise.

“The masterclass provided a unique opportunity for attendees to receive basic make-up skills from Aeron, who has garnered a reputation for exceptional skill and artistry,” Kaakunga says, adding that the event once again underscored Aeron’s unwavering pursuit of excellence and their mission to empower individuals through make-up.

Guests who were in attendance lauded the session for the insight it provided in terms of taking charge of their beauty routines and the positive energy cultivated throughout the experience.

“I loved the Beyoncé vibe, I loved Jayn’s energy and patience. They were always willing to help us with everything. “I learned how to properly blend with a brush and how to properly shape my brows. Above all, the vibes were just immaculate,” says participant Adelheid Geingos.

Participant Dagmar Gruner described the experience as fantastic.

“I don’t think I can put into words how much fun I had. It was so organised,” she says.

Aeron’s artistry has stood the test of time, and an opportunity like this, to learn from the best, is one that is sure to help participants elevate their skills. The masterclass was not the last opportunity to learn from Aeron, who says there is a possibility of more classes in the works, hinting at a follow-up session potentially to be held in November.

The brushes will be on sale from 1 October.

“This event was a soft launch into my power, a confirmation that from now on, I will be focusing on make-up artistry as a niche,” says Aeron.
